DUSO Champs UPDATES

As many of you have heard, Red Hook is hosting all 8 teams on August 2nd. There will be about 800 families attending this event and 1000s of people in our community! 

Our DUSO committee has been working since last season to host the most amazing champs the league has seen. The committee has done a wonderful job in keeping costs down and many local businesses have donated to support our cause; but now we're looking for some help from our families!

You may have seen a few links go out this past week; here are a few ways you can help our team:

1. Championship Gift Basket Raffles: Follow the link below and donate anywhere from $5-$20. These funds will go towards building FOUR gift baskets, "sponsored" by each age group, to raffle off at Championships. All proceeds from the raffle will go back to our 2026 swim season (free team shirts, kick boards, pool parties, etc).

2. Program Shout Outs- We are offering "Shout Outs" in the Championship Program which will be sold the event. Shout out your swimmer, a coach, a team; spread that DUSO spirit! Please have your Shout Outs in by NO LATER then July 24th!!

3. Business Sponsorships- There's still time! If you have a business you would like to promote or know someone who would like to promote our business to the 1000s of people who from Dutchess and Ulster Counties, please have them check out our "Fundraising Page" and fill out our Sponsorship Form. 4. Bake Sale: We’re excited to announce that we will be holding a bake sale during our DUSO Championship meet, and we need your help! We’re looking for volunteers to donate delicious baked goods to support our fundraising efforts. Please sign-up under you Upcoming Meets & Events Page.

5. Set-Up Crew: Friday, August 1st we will need help setting up for DUSOs. We need about 25 volunteers to help set up the evening before DUSO Champs. Many hands make light work — and as a thank you, we’ll be providing a catered dinner for everyone who helps out!
